Medical Herb of Green Medicine

From Fragrance to Healing

People ask me what is the most motivation to publish several books regarding Green Medicine and natural remedies. Here is my answer. When I first published The Secret of Herb I: The Story of Green Medicine, I had no idea how many quiet hearts were listening. The affection and curiosity of readers became not just encouragement—but a quiet responsibility. It urged me to go deeper, to share wider, and to keep walking the long path between nature and human healing.

In this second volume, I’ve returned to that path with a renewed perspective. This book revisits earlier thoughts with sharper clarity, addresses gaps, and responds to the shifting tides of industry and awareness. Over the past ten years, I have watched old prejudices around herbs slowly fade. Terms like phytotherapy, once met with polite confusion, are now stepping into mainstream vocabulary. And so I pause, briefly, to reflect on the road behind me.

Medical Herb of IHT Herbalist, Phytotherapy of Green Medicine

When I first introduced the ideas of Green Medicine and Medical Herbs in Asia, herbs were still seen as little more than aromatic indulgences—something to scent a massage room or steep in an elegant teacup.
The title “Herbalist” often drew raised eyebrows. Launching a phytotherapy training program even led some to suspect I was selling multi-level marketing products.

In those early days, people seemed more intrigued by the hand than the direction it pointed. The sea I was trying to reveal was often lost behind the gesture. And I’ll admit: there were seasons of fatigue, moments when the silence felt heavy.

But with time, the questions began to change. The dismissive curiosity gave way to thoughtful engagement. And now, as I offer this next book, I do so not with answers, but with continued wonder.

Perhaps we are all still learning to see the ocean.
